If you edit lots of photos in Lightroom, this could be a handy tool for you. Instead of adjusting sliders with your mouse, you can quickly dial in edits with the hardware knobs, dials, and buttons. You won't have to take your eyes off the screen while adjusting your settings.

There are alternative solutions (e.g. with MIDI2LR/PFixer and a controller like the X-Touch Mini or BCR2000) which can work great too, this is just an all-in-one packaged solution with a controller that was designed with the Lightroom UI in mind, rather than a generic MIDI controller. Here's a long video comparing the two methods.
This is the cheapest it has been. The Loupedeck+ was announced last week, so the price for this one dropped. It was US$299 when it was released last year. The new model uses mechanical switches, allows more customization, adds support for Capture One and Skylum, and a few other bits.
